National Park Prokletije

National Park Prokletije is the youngest national park in Montenegro. It is located in the eastern part of the country near the border with Albania. The park has a unique and very beautiful nature, a lot of species of flora and fauna, including rare ones. The most wonderful feature of the park is incredible tall stony mountains. It's a perfect place for long walks and hikes. There are a lot of hiking trails and places to rest ad enjoy amazing nature. The beautiful mountain river goes through the park with clear cold water adding crystal beauty to the general landscapes. You can find waterfalls, lake in the park and a lot of lovely lawns with picturesque views.

The entrance to the park is paid and you can get a map with hiking trails pointed there so you wouldn't be lost, in the touristic center. There is a long not so good narrow village road through the park but if you would like to get there by car, it's better to take a good off-road car. But if you walk, you can stop at any location and look around exploring the area.

The closest city is Plav where you can stay and take a ride from. As to have an adventure in the National Park Prokletije, you might need a lot of time. But it's so worth visiting. It's a perfect place to observe pure and magnificent nature and connect to self, restore your inner energy level and fill yourself with joy and purity.
