Lipa Cave is one of the most incredible sights in Montenegro. It is a natural cave of an amazing diversity of karstic formations. In a combination with the water, it created magnificent ornaments and creatures. While exploring Lipa cave, you will find different types of stalactites, stalagmites their, most significant ones have their names by their shapes. At the beginning of the cave you will find numerous corals filled the walls.
The atmosphere in the cave is unique, something you won't find anywhere. The approximate explored length is 2.5 km, which consists of hiking trails, a few halls with its natural formations, water streams, holes and springs. It's a perfect place to strengthen your imagination, trying to guess familiar shapes. There is an area with a strong wind which makes the whole experience truly blissful. There are different times of excursions for different seasons but the temperature inside the cave is always 8-12 Celsius degrees. That's why it's better to have a warm coat with you and wear comfortable shoes inside the cave. It could be slippery there. You can visit Lipa Cave only with a professional guide. There is a big free parking where you can leave your car. It needs to arrive at least 30 mins prior the tour starts. There is a big building there you can buy tickets, there is free toilet and a good cafe with open and tented areas. Open area has a magnificent views to the local mountains.
