Viewpoint Shtegvashë

Viewpoint Shtegvashë is a must-seeing travel attraction. This Viewpoint is located on a very picturesque road near the border with Albania. You could find it if you drive from Ulcinj city or from Albania. The road is a bit winding and not very wide so for beginners drivers it could be pretty challenging. But if you drive with experienced driver, you will definitely enjoy it. The mountains seems so close and they are really attractive. If you travel from April to November, you will be amazed with those colours, flowers and green hills of the mountains. You would love to stop every 5 meters to take photos of breathtaking landscapes.

The viewpoint itself is located on the biggest turn of the road, close to Skadar lake. The view from the viewpoint is incredibly beautiful. You will see amazing mountains of different shapes, beautiful quiet Skadar lake and peaceful Albanian city from the other side of the lake. At warm time of the year the mountains are green and blossoming, there are a lot of different trees and flowers around. The colour of the lake had different shades of green, blue and turquoise and it's an incredible view of such a colourful water. The viewpoint is located pretty high above the sea level so it could be cold and windy even at summer.

There are a few comfortable benches where you could sit and rest, enjoying the views. One of benches is equipped with USB ports and sun battery. There is also a narrow hiking trail where you can walk and observe beautiful views, waving at the closest neighbor - Albania. There are a few big cell towers at the top. You can find a few build boards where you can find useful information about the area, its attractions, trails, restaurants and more. There is a small parking so you can park your car and have a proper rest enjoying the views. In general, it's a fantastic touristic attraction that will allow you to fall in love with local beauty, find peace and observe amazing landscapes.
