Island of Flowers (Prevlaka Island)

The Island of Flowers (Prevlaka Island) is a very small island in the Bay of Kotor. It is only 300m long and 200m wide. It will take you less than an hour to cross the whole island. The island is separated from the mainland with a tiny isthmus that has a bridge. And it allows people reach the island by the car. It is located in Titat region, close to the city Tivat and closer to the airport of Tivat.

The island is very beautiful, has unique pure nature, a lot of flowers and trees. A very few people live on the island in a simple bungalows. The island of Flowers is devoted to the monastery that is built on the island a few centuries ago. There is a narrow trail along the island that is a promenade for hiking. The views from the island are amazing - you can see gorgeous mountains and a bigger island in front of it. There is an old abandoned boat near the isthmus in the sea. And it adds a specific beauty to the main landscape. It's a really beautiful place to have a wonderful walk and to enjoy nature.
