"Niagara" Waterfall

There are not many waterfalls in Montenegro. That's why this one is a very popular one. Locals call it "Niagara" Waterfall because it's pretty wide itself. This waterfall is located near the capital Podgorica, in about 7km from the city center. YOu can go there by car or there are some excursions which offer the tour to the waterfall. The main feature of the waterfall - if there were no rains for a while - the waterfall will be dry - with no water. The water in the waterfall comes from the mountain, it's a mountain Cijevna river. so it's mostly filled with water in spring when the snow melts in the mountains. There is a restaurant there so you can also have a fantastic lunch, tasting local meals and watching the waterfall.
