DESCRIPTION:For the first time in Cattaro\, Montenegro\, will take place the show ”SKYLINE”\, vertical dance ”Il Posto” on the facade of the Saint Trifone Cathedral. \n\n\n\nSkyline is the profile of our cities\, it’s a line created by buildings\, it’s the sign that crosses the sky and unites all the shapes to the horizon\, and for this it represents and characterizes the uniqueness of every place. \n\n\n\nVertical dance fits into the landscape with a spectacular performance where dancers draw the sky with their bodies and share the vast view with anyone watching. The show gives the city a powerful skyline where the poetry of dance and music paints new visions and perspectives. \n\n\n\nThe dancers move lightly with a different gravity\, suspended but solidly attached to the architecture that act as umbilical cord to the dynamics and energetic chalk of flight. \n\n\n\nIl Posto is the first company in Italy specialized in site-specific performance on vertical planes. Born in 1994 in Venice\, from the partnership between choreographer Wanda Moretti and musician Marco Castelli in order to create vertical shows that unite dance\, architecture and music\, blending the dramaturgy of the shows to the places in which they are represented and thus inspiring new ideas\, reflections and perspectives. \n\n\n\nThey create vertical dance shows on indoor and outdoor buildings\, historic and contemporary\, on bridges\, towers\, cranes\, but also in theaters\, museums and industrial environments. In addition to repertoire shows\, they create tailor-made shows by designing personalized performances based on the requirements for public and private events. They carry out training activities for dance professionals and not. \n\n\n\nVertical dance is understood as a body that moves perpendicular to the wall establishing a relationship with space from a new perspective. Architecture and landscape occupy a central role\, distinguishing every event. \n\n\n\nMusic is created especially for shows\, it is customized differently for each venue and performed live with the formula of sax & live electronics. \n\n\n\nThe shows on the facades of buildings are performance-discovery\, they are reading of architecture through the senses\, poetic action\, valorization of a place with unique features.
