Startup Factory is an open-source project that is intended to launch the process of creating and supporting technological and social startups in Montenegro and its region. Startup Factory was created to unite IT and creative communities to find talents and help them express themselves.

How it’s gonna be?

Two months of workshops, intensive work, mentoring and support from an experienced team of experts in order to implement your project.

Who is participating? A total of up to 9 teams of 3-5 people each. Each team works on its own unique idea and turns it into a full-fledged product or service.

1. Selection of ideas. In the first week of Startup Factory at the presentation meeting, you can present your idea that has passed the pre-selection of experts, or you can come up with something new on the go!
2. Formation of teams. We will help you properly assemble teams around the selected projects. Team up with friends, colleagues and anyone who wants to participate and help, and experienced HR experts will help you find and pick up the missing team members.
3. Project implementation. The most interesting stage is where each participant will contribute and learn in the process under mentoring of experts in each IT field. You will independently evaluate the integrity of the idea, develop a necessary software base, test the result together with colleagues in the workshop and focus groups of users.
4. Project defense in front of an open audience in the final. You will have every chance to get instant feedback, attract real investments and get technological support. Talented newcomers involved in the implementation of projects can be noticed by IT companies. After all, experts and observers from IT companies, as well as representatives of foundations, participate in the Startup Factory**!

Then sign up as a ** leader and project owner. It can be any project, from open-source to a commercial game or a socially significant software product. Leaders come with their own interesting idea or project.

Do you want to learn and upgrade?

Then you become a ** participant**, ready to join the project you like and become a member of the team! Experts will help to establish the process of working in a team, show the direction and give tools. After all, the team is the most important thing!

Stayed too long in the seniors?

You can help several promising projects to reach the professional level at once. As a freelancer apply your many years of experience in design, technical architecture, data analysis and marketing. Help the newcomers and find new friends!

Have experience managing products?
