The second festival of books, humanities, culture and art in Montenegro, FesK Kotor (FesKK) “Be careful what you read!” will be held in Kotor from the sixth to the eighth of September.

The official opening of FesKK is on September 6 at 8 p.m. in the Glass Gallery of the “Nikola Đurković” Cultural Center, and on this occasion two exhibitions will be opened at noon, the organizers announce and promise a rich program. The three-day multimedia program will bring together in one place the productions of Montenegrin publishers, libraries, faculties, institutes, museums, galleries… In addition to several promotions of publications during each day of the Festival, two exhibitions are planned and much more.

The festival will award prizes, and the competition for prizes will include books published in the past two years that make an important scientific contribution, contribute to innovative educational practice, as well as valuable reprint editions of old books that have characteristics of timeless value, explained the announcement.

The awards will be presented on the third day of the festival, during the ceremonial closing of FesKK.

The goal of the Festival is to draw attention to the importance of relevant content in the publishing production of Montenegro in the field of humanities, culture and art and to affirm the role of publishing in the national culture of Montenegro
